What are Secondary Conditions?

Addressing the cause or suppressing the symptoms?

At UMOYA Chiropractic we go far further than only manage symptoms. We want to know where the symptoms, or secondary conditions, originate from. Our speciality is in assessing for shifts from normal spine and nervous system integration.

When a Neuro-Functional Shift is present, there is a shift in the normal function between the spinal cord and nerves, and in the structure of the spine, skull and their connective tissues. This underlying problem occurs mostly at the very top of the spine and at the very bottom of the spine, but can cause secondary conditions or symptoms anywhere in the body. Below is a list of some of the more common secondary conditions that we see here in practice. If you would like more information regarding your health condition and/or how we can help you, please contact the practice so you can speak with the Chiropractor, or setup a complimentary consultation
